 Here is the homework for this evening:

Math - Geometry - students were to draw a shape (9 points) on the Cartesian Plane and write out the coordinates for the shape that they have drawn.  This will be needed for an activity being done in class tomorrow.

Parents:

Just a reminder to listen to the radio whenever there is bad weather so that you know if buses are running and (although highly unlikely) schools are closed.  There is a link on this blog that will inform you of bus cancellations.

 Here is the homework for this weekend:

Science - students are asked to go through the Google Classroom and make sure that all assignments for there various units have been completed - Grade 6 - Space; Grade 7 - Heat.  We are going to be starting new units next week (Grade 6 - Flight / Grade 7 - Form and Functions)

History / Social Studies - quizzes tomorrow on New France (Gr. 7) / Canadian Government and Flags (Gr. 6)

 Here is the homework for this evening:

Gr. 7 - History - New France test on Thursday - True/False style quiz: this is on the Fact Cards (10) that we have worked on in class; all work for these Fact Cards are to be submitted by Monday, November 30.

Gr. 6 - Social Studies - quiz on Thursday on Canadian Flags and Government - multiple choice format (use Kahoot to help you memorize the flags); all work that is in the Social Studies folder needs to be complete by November 30

Parents:

Today a sheet went home regarding the Picture Day that is coming to the school - sorry I forgot to give those out at the end of the day yesterday.

 We are back online!!

Sorry for not updating the homework page lately, I had some signing in troubles.  Now that problem seems to be rectified hopefully I can keep this up to date between now and at least until the Christmas break.

Here is the homework for this evening:

Math - Integers - test tomorrow on adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.  Should be an easy test, best review practice is to go over any worksheets that we complete on the Google Classroom the past couple of weeks.

Parents:

It was really nice to get the opportunity to talk to some of you last Thursday.  As I said to many of you, I hope that we get the chance to meet face-to-face before the end of the school year.

Just a couple of noteworthy items.  Please listen to the radio any day that  we may have bad winter weather to see if the busses have been cancelled or in the unlikely event, schools are closed.

Tuesday, December 8 is Picture Day at the school.  Forms were sent home this evening with information pertaining to Picture Day.

Google Classroom - if you want to be added to the Google Classroom, jsut send your email address to school with your child and I will add your name to the classroom and Google will send you an email with an invitation to join.  This might be very handy to have access to if the COVID numbers get to high and the Ministry of Education decides to send schools online.
